Elham Zarnegar, MPAS, PA-C
Elham “Ellie” Zarnegar, PA-C, is the Clinical Director and Founder of Essential Aesthetics, a state-of-the-art medical spa in Danville, California. PA Zarnegar is one of the most advanced and creative practitioners in the East Bay Area. She earned her medical aesthetics qualifications through intense one-on-one training with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and expert physicians throughout the country.
“I believe that restoring facial volume without creating over-corrected or exaggerated results is truly an art. I am grateful to all of my patients who have allowed me to develop myself as an advanced aesthetic provider in the field of aesthetic medicine.”
PA Zarnegar began her medical aesthetics career in 2008, but she has led an active academic life. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in adult nursing and midwifery from Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran in 1992. Two years later, she immigrated to the United States and earned an additional Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia, in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
PA Zarnegar worked for Emory University’s Department of Dermatology, where she assisted with clinical research studies. She also achieved her postgraduate Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Seton Hall University/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. PA Zarnegar has a wide range of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and family practice, both in hospital and outpatient settings — but her true passion is aesthetic medicine.
What distinguishes PA Zarnegar from other advanced medical aesthetics practitioners is her drive and commitment to learn, investigate, and perform new treatments and techniques. PA Zarnegar is uniquely talented, and her training and expertise make her particularly adept at using injectables, such as BOTOX® and JUVÉDERM®, in new and innovative ways.
Aside from being an experienced PA and business owner, PA Zarnegar is an active, supermom of twin 17-year-old boys. She enjoys playing tennis, golf, and going on bike rides with them.
PA Zarnegar has been performing Aesthetic Medicine since 2008 and ER medicine since 2003. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).Back to Top
