Elham Zarnegar, MPAS, PA-C
As the driving force behind Essential Aesthetics, one of the foremost medical spas in Danville, California, Elham “Ellie” Zarnegar is one of the San Ramon Valley’s most advanced and creative practitioners. She serves as our clinical director and holds certificates for an array of products and services. She earned her medical aesthetics qualifications through intense one-on-one training with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and other physicians throughout the country.
“I believe that restoring facial volume without creating over-corrected or exaggerated results is truly an art. I am grateful to all of my patients who have allowed me to develop myself as an advanced injector in the field of medical aesthetics.”
Aside from her clinical duties at Essential Aesthetics, Ellie has led an active academic life. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in adult nursing and midwifery from the Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran in 1992. Two years later, she immigrated to the United States and earned an additional Bachelor of Science degree, this time from the University of Georgia, in biochemistry and molecular biology.
Ellie worked for Emory University’s Department of Dermatology, where she assisted with clinical research studies. She also achieved her postgraduate Master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Ellie has a wide range of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and family practice, both in hospital and outpatient settings — but her true passion is aesthetic medicine.
What distinguishes Ellie from other advanced medical aesthetics practitioners is her drive and commitment to learn, investigate, and perform new treatments and techniques. Ellie is uniquely talented, and her training and expertise make her particularly adept at using injectables, such as BOTOX® and JUVÉDERM®, in new and innovative ways.
Ellie has been performing Aesthetic Medicine since 2008 and ER since 2003. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is a past member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).Back to Top
